The Patriot, a versatile fire/rescue/transport apparatus in one unit featuring an ambulance body that is fully transport capable, with rescue compartments for equipment and can carry up to 200 gallons of water. The unit is also designed to have a Compressed Air Foam System (CAFS) system to hold and dispense up to 15 gallons of foam as well as two 1-inch booster reels on each side of the module.

Engineered in response to the growing demands placed on fire departments across the country, the Patriot is designed to respond to more than 95% of all emergency calls, whether EMS-related, light rescue or a light suppression call, this unit is also ideal for volunteer fire departments without the manpower to staff several vehicles.

Utilizing the Spartan Furion chassis, the Patriot is a Type I medium-duty ambulance built to deliver maximum interior space and increased available payload with the added features of fire/rescue capabilities. The Patriot Super Chief offers 73 inches of interior headroom and enough space for up to six crew members plus the required equipment to answer the most critical emergency calls.

Featuring the high-quality manufacturing and product innovations that Braun has become known for, the Patriot features SolidBody™ construction, which adds strength to the vehicle by constructing the floor, roof, side and doors a from brake-formed parts with full contact welded seams. The Patriot offers many standard options to ease in patient care including the VitalMax Angled Fluorescent Lighting, the EZ Glide™ Sliding Door that allows the ambulance door to slide against the module rather than out into traffic, and the MasterTech III™ Electrical System that controls the module's electronic functions and provides real time on-board diagnostics.
