Summary of Responsibilities

Download all electronic controllers (nodes), master control consoles (MCC), and power distribution quarters (PDQ) per vehicle order. Assemble various work orders and perform testing on all in-house build components.

Summary of Activities

Responsibilities Activities
Receive, review and interpret Instructions, prints, electrical schematics and work orders for each assembly
Use machine and hand tools Make additional harness wires as needed
Maintain production schedule in assembly builds and maintain inventory bins of electrical components and bulk items Restock personal bins out of the stock area
Download all electronic controllers (nodes) Download Program into nodes and vista screens
Assemble quality master controls consoles (MCC) per work order Install components into the console per the work order and prints
Assemble quality power distribution quarters (PDQ) per work order Install components into the PDQ per the work order and prints
Assemble in-house work order builds
In process inspection of assemblies

Technical Skills/Competencies (Technical Knowledge, Education and Experience)

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prior work experience or vocational training in electricity and/or electronics
  • Able to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with various air and hand tools, and specifically with general electrical tools

Personality Traits / Core Skills

  • Communicate with Electrical Analyst on related build issues

  • Demonstrate reasonable and reliable attendance
  • Maintain any required licensures and/or certifications
  • Operate all job-related equipment or machines at acceptable productivity and quality levels
  • Successfully pass a post offer drug test, as well as random, reasonable suspicion and post-accident drug and alcohol test thereafter
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance, regularly require to walk, talk and hear, reach with hands and arms, stand, crouch and kneel; frequently required to use hand to finger dexterity in order to handle objects, tools, and/or controls; occasionally required to stoop or crawl
