Here is additional feedback from individuals who took the time to submit an online testimonial through our website.

Tim Stutzman – “I have thirty years of experience in EMS, public safety, and ambulance sales. I’ve driven many ambulances and sold for several ambulance and fire apparatus manufacturers. The folks at Braun are as awesome as their product. I continue to work as a consultant and inspector for a large fire manufacturer, and often brag about my experience at the Braun plant. To this day, the staff at Braun are the best I’ve ever seen. And lastly, when I sold an ambulance to a local hospital foundation, Kim Braun went above and beyond to help me with the sale and provide an affordable ambulance that met the foundation’s donations. I love the Braun product, and I love the Braun family values.”

Allen-Park-FD“Our experience with Kodiak and Braun was wonderful.  From their excellent bid package all the way through delivery and beyond, they can’t be beat.  Our salesman, Ahren Taszreak, should be used as an example of what all sales staff should strive to be. He responds immediately to all concerns and goes above and beyond during all stages of the buying process, even well after delivery.  The quality of the Braun product is very evident, they put the other ambulances in our fleet to shame.  Before you commit to buying any new ambulance, or when you pick one up, be sure to take them up on the offer of a factory tour. I have never seen a manufacturing facility that is so organized and clean.”

Lucas-Fire-Dept-Seal“We are so very proud of this unit and how it performs above all expectations on a daily basis. Some of the other departments that have come out to look the unit over have commented on how well the larger box works on the F550 chassis, as opposed to a medium duty truck.  Everyone from Tim’s group at Lone Star Emergency Vehicles, all the way up through the Braun team, have been a top notch group to work with. We cannot wait until the next one! With Braun you get form, fit ,and function all in one neat package.”

Portage-Fire-Dept-Logo“Our first Braun Ambulance is a 2006 Freightliner M2. That ambulance has 139,000 miles on it will be come our back up for our three fire stations. Due to the superior structure build of Braun’s box’s we will remount it in about five years on another M2 Freightliner chassis. The 2006 has no rust and minimal mechanical has been needed to maintain that unit. As we placed our new 2014 Braun Super Chief in service soon I would like to thank all the hard working Braun employees for building the safest well built ambulances we at the Portage Fire Department have served our citizens with.”

FACT-Logo“Our service cares for every type of patient, in every type of medical situation that could be imagined – from bariatric patients, to neonates, and anything in between. Our requirements were broad in the respect that we need to reconfigure the truck to accommodate those types of patient populations appropriately and provide adequate patient care safely and efficiently. We have to facilitate these transports all from one vehicle. When choosing Braun, it essentially came down to the fact that there was no design challenge that we threw at them that they were not able to facilitate for us. The quality and craftsmanship of Braun was unparalleled to other units we looked at and also weighed heavily on our decision.”

NOVA-Logo“The Braun ambulance speaks for itself. There’s no other vehicle out there built as well…and they would, of course, be more than welcome to look at ours. Out of all the many ambulances I’ve worked in during my nearly 30 years in the business, the Braun always comes out on top as the best for many proven reasons.

Overall, it’s been a pleasure to work with everyone from Braun. The Braun family of employees are dedicated and committed to building a high quality ambulance. Their customer service is exceptional. Everyone from Chad Brown, Kim Braun, Troy Miller, and Penny Richardson are truly a great group of people. The tour of the Braun facility was very impressive from every level – work ethics of their employees, advanced technology, cleanliness of their facility, final inspection process, and overall customer service.”

unified-fire-authority-logo“Unified Fire Authority decided on purchasing Braun ambulances for a number of reasons. First and foremost, Unified Fire Authority felt that the SolidBody™ Construction was far superior to the other extruded ambulances that bid due to the welds used as opposed to the glues and adhesives used by the other manufacturers, thus ensuring a safer ambulance. Secondly, with the brake-formed construction method we were able to see the weight difference between the extruded ambulance manufacturers and Braun (with Braun being 500-800 lbs. lighter) and we are calculating on seeing that fuel savings and reduced maintenance costs on the chassis due to that weight savings. Another reason, was during the tour, before our decision was made, we were able to see the all processes that went into place prior to our ambulance even being built and we were impressed with the detail that goes into engineering and coordinating of all the components prior to the unit even being built.

We also checked references prior to our decision and the retention rate with Braun’s previous customers was outstanding.

I would strongly recommend to any other Fire/EMS department to purchase Braun ambulances. We feel that they are superior to any other ambulance on the market!”

Nassau-County-Police-Dept“The police department’s ambulance fleet consists of approximately 40 Braun Chief XL ambulances. I am not only satisfied with the quality of our Braun buses; I am also completely satisfied with the great guys at All Area. Our ambulance fleet provides a critical service to our residents. Our buses provide around the clock assistance in often times harsh driving conditions. My automotive supervisors who prepare the specifications for our buses and those who oversee the maintenance of these vital pieces of equipment can attest to their superior quality, roadworthiness and workmanship.”

Donald F. Halbohn, Police Inspector
Nassau County Police Department

vollylogo-whitebg-med“From what I have heard, our Braun has been in service since the 1980s. In 2002, the Braun box was re-mounted to a brand new Ford E-450 frame. In the past month, that 2002 – as well as the Braun box – was completely stripped and repainted and looks showroom perfect. The original box is still in excellent condition and is a great compartment to do patient care in.

All members of our unit and other ambulance services like the shape and style of the Braun; for some reason, it still catches the eye as it drives by.

I have worked in other types of ambulances, but Braun seems to be the most solid and trustworthy vehicle I have been in. It is just an all around well-built ambulance that I am proud to have as one in my fleet of 3 ambulances.”
